i think that you need to go on a REALLY long vacation by yourself and let jer take care of it... but benny said i can't go! good luck.
Jeremy got rid of the binkie maybe he can get them to sleep all night without you or send them to grandma and grandpas house haha loves
I tell my kids if they want to sleep in my room they have to sleep on the floor or in the recliner and they are not to make a sound. As for sleeping in their room, I'm not sure about that one. I was never a nice enough mom to do that.
It is so funny that you posted about this cuz my kids are having a really hard time sleeping right now too. My little girl did the same thing and when she was almost 3 I just read her books turned music on and told her she had to sleep like a big girl and went out. It took a lot of putting her back in her bed for awhile but it worked. Now she goes to bed by herself for the most part. Now I'm trying to get my kids to go to bed earlier. Good luck
I am obviously not a mom, but have you thought about separating them? Maybe they're waking each other up. You might put Ash in the living room on the air matress for a week or so and put Chuck and Breckyn in separate rooms. That might at least give you a better idea if only one of them has a problem. Then you might be able to focus more on one child at least. If anything, sick J-Lo on them. Nothing puts the fear of God in you like a determined dad! HAHA! Good luck, Lou! I love you and can't wait to see you next weekend!
watch every episode of super nanny there is, I'm sure there was some parent on them that's had that same problem. I think you'll have to just plan on giving up a couple of nights of sleep to break them of this habit- it's hard to be stern when you are dead tired!! Do it on a holiday weekend :)
Hey girlie. I have been pretty lucky with Brandon when it comes to the sleep thing, but I do know that he will go as far as we will let him. You need to just be firm with them. I like what Adrienne said maybe you should seperate them and see who is the trouble maker. Good luck! Give me a call when you are up we can chat, since I will be up too. Love ya!
um... im 20 years old. and i still sleep on my parents floor. along with my 11 and 9 year old brother. we are extreme fraidy cats.
i hope you have better luck then my mom and dad have had.... the brightside of this for ME is that I never have to imagine or think about or wonder when my parents do "IT." cause they have zero opportunities.
Oh Stacy! I have so been there Connor did the same thing he would never sleep in his own bed. I was finally able to break him after several sleepless nights putting him back to bed. I had a talk with him about sleeping in his own bed and all the things because he is a "big" boy he got to do and if he kept coming to my bed he wouldn't get to do those things. I also took him to the store and let him pick out his own night light which helped a ton. He also adopted a blanket that my Grandma made me back years ago and the only way he could keep his "blue" blanket was to sleep in his own bed. This worked for a long time, but he has had the occasional fall back and ended up in my room. Usually after something has happend that made him be scared. It is usually something like a TV show, something another kid at school told him and so on. Anyhow I have lot's of other tricks and tips I got when I was going thru it so if you need some more ideas call me!
Love you! Sending you my strength and un-tired energy!

Well knowing that I'm not a mother yet. I am an Auntie to 22. I agree to the night light. When I was younger I wouldn't sleep in my own bed either. I would be scared of the dark when my mom and dad told to sleep in room with sisters. They bought us a night light so I could see when I woke up. After that I always slept in my bed. The idea about the Wii and Breckyn is a good one. :)
Good luck to you and hope you get your sleep back.
Love ya tons...US!! :)
